Having your purse hanging on a purse hook and off the floor will save your purse and your accessories, give you confidence that when you need a stick of gum it will still be there and prevent the bits and pieces trail left by your little shred machine.
4) Protect Your Good Fortune
Many cultures believe that to put your purse on the floor is inviting bad luck and the certain loss of your money into your life. Neither are outcomes any of us want to risk- superstition or not. If using a fun and flirty purse hook to keep your bag off the floor can keep bad luck from crawling into our bags and lives why not? I’m just glad there are so many styles to pick from.

When a woman hunts for the perfect purse and then agrees to spend her hard earned money on a designer bag, she will treat that handbag like her child. But think about that….your purse is behind your back and definitely out of sight. Although it is the back of your chair, that area is a pathway for anyone else around you allowing for easy access for pick pockets or purse snatchers. Often when your purse goes missing from the back of the chair-not even Paul Blart, Mall Cop, can offer you any assurances that your bag will be returned. Having your purse hanging on a purse hook, table side where you can see it and it is safe- is definitely the way to go!

The bottom of a woman’s hand bag is considered to be one of the TOP 5 most unsanitary places. It touches the surfaces of our lives that we avoid touching ourselves. Sure, no one would ever lick the bottom of their hand bags, but think about it; you put your handbag down on a bathroom floor, on the floor of a restaurant, and then on your kitchen counter! All of those outside germs are now swimming in your kitchen! I know you have seen CSI…..gross- please don’t use that black-light on my bag…..I don’t want to know.
