I’m not a huge outdoorsy person, but I do enjoy a day with nature when the weather is nice. Luckily, Red Rock Canyon is a beautiful area close by that has a scenic drive with stops along the way. The weather in Las Vegas is hot. We’re talking 100 degrees plus. So, one very important thing to keep in mind when spending time in the desert is to drink a lot of water. The sun beats down through the windows, so just keeping our water bottles shaded in the car is not enough. The Polka Dot Lunch Tote was extremely handy in this instance. I had forgotten to freeze an ice pack the night before, so I just crossed my fingers and hoped that the lunch tote would keep the water cool enough for the day. Sure enough at every stop we all were able to pull out our chilled bottles of water and enjoy a cool refreshing drink. The tote has a nylon lining that makes wiping down spills a cinch. Also the canvas fabric does not collect heat and the padded walls keep cold items cool and hot items warm. The handles are reinforced to make for easy carrying too. We were all very grateful for this handy lunch bag even our little puppy appreciated it!
